Circular Fashion

DreamStill is a dynamic community-driven initiative focused on transforming the way we think about sustainability, textile waste, and conscious consumption. Founded with a mission to divert textiles from landfills, DreamStill empowers individuals to take action through innovative solutions, such as the Sorty app, which simplifies textile sorting and recycling. Our community gathers around events like the EcoRise Festival, where art, activism, and sustainability converge to address eco-anxiety, foster solidarity, and celebrate the power of collective action. DreamStill is committed to inspiring a shift toward mindful, circular living by blending creativity, inclusivity, and environmental stewardship.

Podcast Guest Speaker

The climate emergency is directly linked to global health, exacerbating existing diseases and triggering new health problems like heat-related illnesses and population displacements due to extreme weather events. Climate change also impacts the spread of infectious diseases such as malaria and dengue, while increasing air pollution worsens respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. In the fourth season of the podcast #NutrologiaEmPauta, guest speaker Marcelle Moreira dos Santos, an actress and environmental activist, will join us to explore these topics.

Project EquiFood

Alongside fellow youth, Mars created Project EquiFood to address the UN sustainable development goal of zero hunger and promote sustainable production and consumption of food by partnering with businesses in the food industry and charities tackling food insecurity. Project Equifood offers "pro-bono" digital marketing, raises awareness to the environmental impact of food systems, promotes sustainable and nutritious diets, creates opportunities for people to aid in the cause of food security, and provides the Central Okanagan Food Bank with a new revenue stream.
